The Maryland colorized quarter set includes two uncirculated 2000 Maryland Statehood Quarters (one Philadelphia "P" mint and one Denver "D" mint) enhanced with a full-color overlay on the reverse side. These specialty sets were produced by private minting companies, such as the American Historic Society or the Merrick Mint, rather than the official U.S. Mint.
This is a classic 2-coin collector set from the American Historic Society. It packages uncirculated P and D mint marks side-by-side in a display card detailing Maryland state history, featuring the colored reverse showcasing the Maryland State House and White Oak leaves.
