John Deere-Opoly is an officially licensed, farm-themed twist on the classic Monopoly property-trading board game. Produced by TOMY (under the Ertl brand), this collector's edition replaces standard street names, tokens, and rules with agricultural and John Deere-specific elements.
Instead of building a real estate empire, 2 to 6 players compete to become top farming tycoons by purchasing land, crops, and equipment.
The Properties: Players buy properties like Combine Terrace, Planter Place, Excavator Trail, 8R Ranch, and Lawn Mower Lane.
Houses & Hotels: Upgraded to Farmhouses and Barns to generate higher rent.
Chance & Community Chest: Replaced by Farmers Market and Auction cards.
Board Corners: You don't pass "GO", you Drive Green to collect $200. Instead of "Go to Jail", you are sent to Hail. "Free Parking" is swapped for Land Inheritance, a jackpot zone where accumulated utility and tax money gathers.
The game features 6 custom, farm-themed playing pieces:
Tractor
Combine
Dozer
John Deere Gator utility vehicle
Ear of Corn
Cow or Pig
