Jonathan: Codename: Comrades is a one-shot of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Classic comic book series. Written by Jane Espenson and illustrated by Cliff Richards, it was originally published on January 3, 2001, by Dark Horse Comics.
Russian vampire mobsters are threatening Sunnydale, and there's only one person who can stop them legend-in-his-own-mind Jonathan! But this time Jonathan will need a little help from a certain Slayer and her pals. Sure, they're amateurs, but every little bit helps. Straight from the small screen, where he starred in his own episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jonathan jumps into comics, and television writer Jane Espenson is bringing him to life again, along with the regular Buffy art team of Cliff Richards and Joe Pimentel.
